THREE LITTLE BIRDS ARTIST RESIDENCY
The Three Little Birds Artist Residency is a residency programme located on an old farmstead in rural Croatia, close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Founded by artist Branka Ridicki.
The residency is situated in the small village of Janja Gora, located in Lika, a region in the central part of Croatia, between Ogulin on the one side and the Plitvice Lakes on the other.
The artist residency programme offers artists the opportunity to leave behind busy city-living, the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowds, and immerse themselves in the tranquillity that country life offers, providing them with new sources of inspiration for their work.
Three Little Birds Artist Residency aims to explore the intersection between contemporary and innovative artistic practices with the natural landscape and rural environment of the local Lika region.
Participants of the artist residencies are invited to stay and work on-site to be inspired by Janja Gora's unique and vivid landscape. Through the residencies, we promote the development of artistic, cultural, interdisciplinary programmes and cooperation in a remote and idyllic part of Croatia.
