Nevena Živić, born on February 2 1990 in Sombor, Republic of Serbia. She grew up in Batina, a small town by the Danube.

In 2009, she graduated from the School of Textiles, Design and Applied Arts in Osijek, as a painting designer. She received her Master's degree in 2016 from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, majoring in painting (under the mentorship of Prof. Anton Vrlić and Berislav Valušek, "The Play of Colored Fields – The Symbolism of Color"). In the same year, she took additional courses in pedagogical psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. In 2019, she completed Professional Training at the Rijeka City Puppet Theater (specialising as a puppet creator, painter and technologist).

To date, she has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions and projects. She has been a member of the Croatian Society of Visual Artists Rijeka since 2020, as well as a member of Creative Industries of Europe.

She works as an external conservator-restorer on various projects. She lives and works in Rijeka but often spends her time in Baranja. She is the founder of the project Waking up/Buđenje. In recent years, her focus has been on painting and visual expression, as well as active participation in exhibitions.
