THREE LITTLE BIRDS ARTIST RESIDENCY

Sanjaya Senavirathna (b. 1977, Sri Lanka) is a contemporary visual artist whose abstract practice explores love as a universal and transcendent human force.

For over two decades, he has developed the conceptual series "Love Without Culture", challenging social and cultural divisions through expressive color, texture, and layered compositions. His works invite viewers to reflect on shared humanity beyond boundaries of identity, nationality, or belief.

"Love without Culture" explores the essence of love as a universal and transcendent human experience. The project delves into the idea that love exists beyond the boundaries of culture, nationality, and societal norms. It seeks to unravel the concept of love from its cultural context, stripping away external influences and preconceived notions.

Senavirathna has presented numerous solo exhibitions at leading galleries in Sri Lanka and participated in international art festivals and residencies across Asia and Europe.

His largest permanent art collection is currently on display at ITC Ratnadipa Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka, marking a significant institutional recognition of his contribution to contemporary art.
